WOW! I'm in a creative mode today! With all of these applications, graphics and much more available it's a lot to take in when using social media!
So I'm going to keep the first blog simple and to the point...
"Southern Traditions" is a non-profit committee whose primary function is to organize the "PIP" Concert Series in order to generate revenue for education. Southern Traditions strive to maximize the ultimate concert experience by providing quality entertainment at an affordable price. All funds collected at this event including sponsor, vendor, and concessions will directly go to the school to aid in educating the youth spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially.
Southern Traditions first event will take place on July 24, 2010 at the former SMCA Haunted Hayride site on Mt. Zion Rd. in Dublin, Alabama."Party in the Pasture" is the first of many more events to come in our "PIP" Concert Series. The bands performing at "PIP" are Tony Brook, Wes Loper, Adam Hood, Chris Posey, JB Roberts, Brandon Self and Trotline. The picturesque outdoor venue with superb entertainment is sure to be a hit amongst young and old alike!

Southern Traditions, this is a great idea, one that has been considered for quite a time now, for the location you are hosting this event. The time has come to make it happen. You have taken big steps and THIS WILL WORK.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see Southern Traditions using blogs, social media sites (facebook for example) to advertise and promote this event. This is exactly what I have been studying about for over a year now at the University of Alabama. Consider me as a helper in this, as music means so much to me, but not as much as the quality of education for my child.
